The Age Limit for APSSB Recruitment 2025 should be between 18 to 35 years as on the closing date of application.

Selection Process
The APSSB CGL (Combined Graduate Level) recruitment involves a two-stage selection process, depending on the post applied for.
For posts like Upper Division Clerk (UDC) and Record Keeper (RK), the selection will be conducted in two stages:
- Stage 1 ā Objective-Type Written Test
- Stage 2 ā Skill Test (as applicable)
However, for the post of Personal Assistant (Stenographer), the recruitment process includes only Stage 2, which is a Written Examination.
The APSSB CGL recruitment process comprises two stages, the details of which are outlined below:
Stage 1: Stenography Proficiency Test
- Only applicable for Personal Assistant (Steno-Gr’ III)
- The Stenography Proficiency Test will be conducted for 5 minutes(80WPM).
- Dictation: 5 minutes (80WPM).
- Transcription: 45 Minutes (English)
- 8% permissible mistakes in speed test and 10% for APST candidates.
- There will be a trial passage and another test passage selected beforehand.
- The trial passage will be dictated by the same person or through Audio/Video device so that the candidate can get familiar with his/her mode of dictation and accents of pronunciation.
- Only those candidates who qualify Stage-1 shall be eligible for Stage-2.
Stage 2: Multiple Choice Questions
- For all posts, i.e., Personal Assistant, Recorder Kanungo, Upper Division Clerk.
